Bicycle saddle (sadel) – tutorial
All accessories that BikeRunner “sell” is “white-label”, meaning – you can buy whichever (normal looking) saddle you want. The cheaper you can buy it, the more money you make on the order. Just like with the tires and tubes. This is also what is communicated to the customer on the website (so they know that the saddle isn’t necessarily a certain type for example). As always, if the customer wishes for a specific accessory that exceeds the price of the service itself, ask the customer (before you buy) for more money for this accessory (and ultimately say no thanks to buying it if they don’t approve)

The saddle needs to fit the customer’s type of bike. For example a racing saddle shouldn’t be mounted to an upright bike like a holland bike. Make sure to talk with the customer about their expectations. In some cases the customer will already have bought the saddle as it might be a matter of design for them. Otherwise 150kr is a good guideline for a decent saddle. If you have time, it can be wise to order the saddle online through cykelgear.dk or other websites as you will be able to make more profit.
Method
When attaching the saddle to the old saddle post make sure it sits firmly and doesn’t move. For a good service arrange the saddle hight to the same as before, in case the new saddle has different dimensions.
